World News and Views :: Projects Aramco and Dow Sign Shareholders' Agreement for Sadara Chemical JV8:24 AM MDT | October 10, 2011 | Ian Young Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical have signed a shareholders' agreement for their previously announced Sadara Chemical joint venture. Sadara will build a $20-billion manufacturing complex at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Ali Ibrahim Al Naimi, Saudi minister of petroleum and mineral resources, and chairman of Saudi Aramco, presided over the signing ceremony. Dow chairman and CEO Andrew Liveris, and Aramco president and CEO Khalid Al Falih signed the accord. Sadara will consist of 26 manufacturing units including a mixed-feed cracker.
