Air Products to build first hydrogen production facility in India

Air Products announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (BPCL; Mumbai) to build, own and operate industrial gas production facilities at Kochi, Kerala, India. The complex will provide hydrogen, syngas, nitrogen and oxygen for BPCL’s refinery and proposed petrochemical complex at Kochi. The Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation previously announced this project in July.
