World News and Views :: Projects Air Liquide to build carbon monoxide plant at Rotterdam to supply Huntsman8:50 AM MST | February 8, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz Air Liquide will invest €65 million ($87.1 million) in a new carbon monoxide manufacturing plant at Rotterdam. This follows a long-term contract that the company recently signed with Huntsman to supply carbon monoxide to Huntsman’s two methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) plants at Rozenburg, in the port of Rotterdam. The new carbon monoxide unit will be located next to Air Liquide’s existing facilities and will start production in the first half of 2015.
