Acron gives an update on its huge potash deposit in Saskatchewan

Fertilizer producer Acron (Velikii Novgorod, Russia) and its Canadian subsidiary North Atlantic Potash today reported that their joint venture with Rio Tinto Potash Management, has completed an exploration programme that defined a resource of 1.4 billion m.t. of potash with an average potassium chloride (KCl) content of 31%. The critically important downhole temperatures for a solution mine averaged 63O C, ranking this deposit one of the highest in Saskatchewan, Acron says.
