YPFB signs ammonia-urea certification contract with Bureau Veritas

Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB; La Paz, Bolivia) on Friday signed a testing, inspection and certification contract with Bureau Veritas Argentina (Buenos Aires) for YPFB’s previously announced ammonia-urea complex at Carrasco, Cochabamba, Bolivia. Carlos Villegas, president of YPFB said during the signing that the complex will begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2015. Samsung Engineering is the engineering contractor.
