Air Products brings ASU's onstream at Dominican Republic gold production facility

Air Products announced today that two of its air separation units (ASUs) are now onstream at the world’s largest pressure oxidation (POX) gold production facility at Pueblo Viejo, Dominican Republic. The facility is operated by Pueblo Viejo Dominicana Corp. (PVDC), and the ASUs each provides 2,000 m.t./day of cryogenic oxygen to satisfy operating requirements of PVDC’s advanced POX technology for gold extraction.
