BASF enters chemicals catalysts production in Asia/Pacific with plant in India

BASF says it plans to start production of precious metal-based fine chemical catalysts at the company’s manufacturing site at Mangalore, India. These catalysts are used in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Start-up is slated for the second quarter of 2013.
