Oxea Completes Expansion of Carboxylic Acids Capacity in Germany

Oxea has completed a 20% expansion of its carboxylic acids plant at the manufacturing complex at Marl, Germany. The company says it is the global market leader in the production of carboxylic acids—but the company does not divulge capacity figures. Carboxylic acids are used in the manufacture of energy-efficient lubricant esters for refrigeration units such as air conditioners and refrigerators or in specialty plasticizers, among others.
