BASF to Double Capacity for Phthalate-free Plasticizer Hexamoll Dinch

BASF has announced plans to double capacity for its innovative, phthalate-free plasticizer, Hexamol Dinch. The company will build a second production line at its Ludwigshafen complex, which will lift capacity from 100,000 m.t./year to 200,000 m.t./year by 2013. Strong demand for this plasticizer alternative across all regions has led to BASF’s decision to invest in new capacity.
