BASF to Double Capacity for Phthalate-free Plasticizer Hexamoll Dinch

BASF has announced plans to double capacity for its innovative, phthalate-free plasticizer, Hexamol Dinch. The company will build a second production line at its Ludwigshafen complex, which will lift capacity from 100,000 m.t./year to 200,000 m.t./year by 2013.    Strong demand for this plasticizer alternative across all regions has led to BASF’s decision to invest in new capacity.  This is the second capacity increase for Hexamoll Dinch since its market launch in 2002.
