Nova Signs Deal for Alberta Ethane Extraction Plant12:42 PM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Nova Chemicals says it has signed an agreement with Aux Sable Canada (ASC; Calgary) to develop an ethane extraction plant at Fort Saskatchewan, AB that would process natural gas from the Alliance Pipeline. The plant will have capacity to process 1.2 billion cubic feet/day of natural gas and produce 40,000 barrels/day of ethane, and will be owned and operated by ASC.
