... Builds Gases Plants in Poland

Air Liquide says it will invest about €100 million ($159 million) to build and operate two air separation units (ASU) at Pulawy, Poland. Air Liquide has signed a long-term contract to supply industrial gases to Zaklady Azotowe Pulawy (Pulawy) a fertilizers, caprolactam, and melamine producer. The ASUs will jointly produce more than 1,200 m.t./day of oxygen and also supply gases to other industries. The first ASU will be commissioned in early 2010, Air Liquide says.
