World News and Views :: Projects … Bags Gases Contract in China...10:12 AM MST | January 22, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Linde says it will invest $125 million to build two air separation facilities at Ningbo, China to supply gases to Ningbo Wanhua Polyurethane (Ningbo) under a long-term contract starting in 2010. Linde Gas Ningbo, a wholly owned Linde subsidiary, will build two air separation units and a 30-km pipeline to supply gases to Wanhua and steel manufacturer Ningbo Steel. The complex will form the largest air gas cluster in China with combined capacity for 8,000 m.t./day of oxygen and nitrogen, and it will be linked to a network of pipelines extending over 70 km.
