A group of senior chemical industry executives met at the United Nations (UN) International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM-2) in Geneva earlier this month and demonstrated leadership worth noting, as their participation has consequences for the entire industry. Many in the industry may not have heard of SAICM—or may view it as a program with indirect consequences for chemical companies.
