Solvay Opens Rare Earth Recycling Units in France

Solvay says it has officially opened two rare earth recycling units in France. The units are based on a process developed by Solvay for recovering rare earths contained in end-of-life equipment such as low-energy light bulbs, batteries, or magnets. These recycling units will help Solvay to diversify its sources of supply and preserve resources, the company says.
