Rhodia Introduces Greener Solvent

Rhodia says it has introduced a new range of solvents derived from renewable raw materials. The company’s Augeo SL 191 solvent is derived from glycerin. It is has been designed for use in paints and varnishes for the automotive and industrial paints, as well as wood and leather.   SL 191 is a slow evaporation solvent, that aggregates techniques able to provide higher productivity and lower consumption in the process of manufacturing paints and varnishes.
