EnviroTech :: Sustainability Polymers Firm Completes Funding Round11:32 AM MDT | June 7, 2011 | Vincent Valk FRX Polymers (Chelmsford, MA), a start-up maker of flame-retardant plastics, has raised $15.7 million in a Series B funding round. The new funding round was led by SAM Private Equity (Zurich), and also included Isreal Cleantech Ventures (Kfar Hayarok, Israel) and Capricorn Venture Partners (Leuven, Belgium). The latter two firms led FRX's Series A funding round. The funds will be used for working capital and to partly fund FRX's first commercial-scale production plant.
