K 2013: DSM joins team developing process for advanced thermoplastic composite parts

DSM has joined the Lightweight Integrated Process Application (LIPA) Team, established to develop an industrial process for the manufacture of endless-fiber-reinforced advanced thermoplastic composite parts, the company announced today at the K plastics trade show, currently taking place in Düsseldorf. DSM will contribute materials know-how and in-depth understanding of nylon-6 applications, the company says.
