Global Bioenergies receives grant for second biobased isobutene pilot plant

Biochemical company Global Bioenergies (Evry, France) announced today that it will construct its second biobased isobutene pilot plant at the Fraunhofer Center for Chemical-Biotechnological Processes' (CBP) Leuna, Germany facility.  The project is supported by a €5.7-million ($7.67 million) grant from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
