EPA Launches New Chemicals Databases

U.S. EPA has launched two new chemicals databases covering toxicity and human exposure data for hundreds of substances. One database, ToxCastDB, focuses on forecasts toxicity of chemicals based on data from more than 500 rapid chemical tests. The other, ExpoCastDB, collects and aggregates human exposure data from studies conducted at homes and child care centers, including amounts of chemicals found in drinking water, air, dust, and urine.
