DSM signs collaboration with US biobased surfactants developer

DSM has entered into a collaboration with SyntheZyme (New York) to develop products based on the latter's biobased surfactant platform. As part of the collaboration, DSM will provide R&D funding to support SyntheZyme's development of efficient routes to modified biobased surfactants. SyntheZyme will also be eligible to earn milestone payments, license fees, and royalties on product sales if the collaboration is successful, DSM says.
