Clariant plant in Germany gains RSPO certification

Clariant’s industrial and consumer specialties plant at Gendorf, Germany, has been granted mass balance certification from the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO; London), permitting mass balance analysis and sourcing of the plant’s palm oil feedstock. Gendorf is Clariant’s first plant to receive the certification, and the company aims to have all its palm oil consuming plants certified by RSPO by 2016.
