Bayer CropScience Signs Biofungicide Deal With Koppert

Crop fungal infection Koppert Biological Systems (Berkel en Rodenrijs, the Netherlands), a leader in biological crop protection, says it has been granted exclusive rights to Bayer CropScience’s Shemer biological fungicide. The fungicide is based on the yeast strain Metschnikowia fructicola and acts as an antagonist, protecting fruits and vegetables from fungal pathogens.
