Amyris Secures $83.7 Million in Financing

 Amyris says it has secured $83.7 million in financing to fund working capital, two weeks after the company told investors it was having trouble maintaining peak yields and  was scaling back efforts to ramp up production of farnesene, its first commercial product.   The financing included a $58.7 million private placement of common stock and $25 million in aggregate principal amount of 3% senior unsecured notes due 2017.  The private placement included existing Amyris investors  Temasek Holdings, Total Gas & Power USA...
