Acron selects Atlas Copco compressors for plant in Russia

Atlas Copco (Stockholm) has been awarded a contract to deliver compressors to fertilizer producer Acron (Velikiy Novgorod, Russia), Atlas Copco has announced. Acron chose Atlas Copco’s gas and process division to construct and deliver two high-pressure integrally geared centrifugal compressors for carbon dioxide (CO2) processing at the company’s plant at Veliky Novgorod. The order, valued at about €13 million ($17.3 million), was booked at the end of the second quarter, and the compressors will be delivered in 2015. The compressors will control...
