BASF Invests $5 Million in China Environment Fund

BASF says its BASF Venture Capital subsidiary has invested $5 million in the China Environment Fund (CEF) IV. CEF, a fund focused on clean technology and managed by Tsing Capital (Beijing), is a series of four funds, and it invests in companies which develop sustainable technologies within the cleantech sector in China, BASF says. “China has a large number of highly innovative and sustainable technology companies of great strategic importance for BASF.
