U.S. Senators Urge EPA to Advance Requirements for PBDEs

A bipartisan group of U.S. senators is calling on EPA to move forward with pending requirements for polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) flame retardants, including submission of data related to EPA’s proposed “chemicals of concern” list and notification requirements for proposed expanded uses of certain substances.
