U.S. Lawmakers Advance Bill Blocking EPA's Boiler MACT Rule

The House recently voted 275-142 to pass a bill that would postpone implementation of proposed technology-based rules for limiting emissions from industrial boilers. Relief from the maximum achievable control technology (MACT) standard for industrial boilers is one of industry’s top legislative and regulatory priorities.
