U.S. EPA has issued an advanced notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) seeking comment on potentially requiring toxicity testing for bisphenol A (BPA). The agency is considering requiring testing organisms including amphibians at sensitive life stages, birds over multiple generations, and aquatic invertebrate species.
