Stakeholders Seek Clarity on EPA TSCA Prioritization Plan—Update

Key stakeholders meeting today with EPA will seek clarity and some revisions to the  agency’s plan for prioritizing chemicals. The agency’s proposal issued last month would use a two-step process to prioritize chemicals for review. EPA sought comment from stakeholders on a list of possible criteria for identifying priority chemicals and on a preliminary narrow list of data sources that could be used to establish the chemicals to be included in the plan’s Step 1.
