German Researchers Uphold European BPA Guidelines

A panel of German researchers has determined that the European Union’s tolerable daily intake (TDI) level for bisphenol A (BPA) is adequate. Germany’s Society of Toxicology, an independent association of researchers, examined the adequacy of the 0.05 mg/kg body weight TDI set by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Brussels).
