EPA Proposes SNURs for Five Groups of Chemicals8:15 AM MDT | March 26, 2012 | Kara Sissell EPA has proposed significant new use requirements for five groups of substances including polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), part of the agency’s ongoing effort to improve chemicals management under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The other four substances are benzidine dyes, a short-chain chlorinated paraffin, hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD), and phthalate di-n-pentyl phthalate (DnPP).
