California Governor Signs Bill to Restrict BPA in Baby Bottles, Sippy Cups

California Governor Jerry Brown (D.) has signed a bill restricting bisphenol A (BPA) in certain children’s products beginning July 2013. The restrictions will apply to bottles and cups that are designed for children under 3 years of age. It would also require manufacturers to use the least-toxic alternative substance for these products.
