Senator Susan Collins (R., ME) has attached an amendment to a Senate transportation bill that would halt implementation of air emission rules for industrial boilers and would allow industry no less than five years to comply with any new EPA rules setting maximum achievable technology (MACT) standards for industrial boilers.
