ACC: EPA’s Dioxin Review Shows Uneven Approach to NAS Recommendations

EPA has released its latest draft dioxin review detailing the agency’s response to recommendations issued years ago by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS; Washington). NAS in 2006 detailed areas where revised methodologies or data are needed. EPA’s most recent release is a draft intended for stakeholder review in advance of public meetings scheduled for June and July. EPA will accept public comment through August 19.
