Dow insecticide receives US regulatory approval

Dow AgroSciences says US regulatory authorities have approved a new insecticidal active ingredient, sulfoxaflor, to be marketed in the United States. Sulfoxaflor belongs to a novel chemical class called sulfoximines invented by Dow AgroSciences. It offers effective control of many important sap-feeding insect pests, Dow says.
