Unilever Tracks Progress Curbing Detergents’ Environmental Impact

Unilever is pushing ahead with plans to significantly reduce the environmental impact of its detergents business across the world and tells CW that as part of its Cleaner Planet Plan it is making progress on a country-by-country basis. Unilever says it will achieve its ambitions by teaming up with innovative chemical companies. The program is less than two years old but already is making gains, says Keith Rutherford, director/sustainable development for R&D at Unilever.
