U.S. Green Chemistry Awards Honor Innovations Including Bio-based Succinic Acid, BDO

BioAmber (Minneapolis) and Genomatica (San Diego) were among the 2011 recipients of EPA’s Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award. The award recognizes technologies that incorporate the principles of green chemistry into chemical design, manufacture, and use, and that industry has or can use to prevent pollution.
