H.C. Starck Passes EICC Conflict-Free Smelter Validation Program

H.C. Starck (Goslar, Germany) has received its second Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) certificate declaring the company free of “conflict materials” at its tantalum processing plants in the U.S., Germany, Japan, and Thailand. The EICC and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative audited the facilities as a part of the Conflict-Free Smelter Validation program at the beginning of the year, and the company passed all of the site requirements.
