Coca-Cola says it will pay a premium for biobased materials used in its PlantBottle beverage packaging, which contains about 30% of plant-derived materials. Coca-Cola has committed to use 100% plant-derived material for all its polyethylene terephthalate (PET) PlantBottle usage by 2020.
