Socma Aligns with NanoSafety Consortium

The Nanotechnology Coalition, an affiliate of the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (Socma; Washington, DC) has made a public statement of support for the NanoSafety Consortium for Carbon (NCC). NCC is a consortium of 12 companies that are involved in commercializing carbon nanomaterials.   NCC recently developed a six-tiered toxicity testing proposal for use with representative nanocarbon materials to satisfy emerging federal regulatory requirements.
