OSHA Fines BP $50.6 Million in Case Related to Fatal 2005 Accident

U.S. worker safety officials say BP Products North America has agreed to pay a record $50.6 million fine for “failure to abate” violations the officials had identified at the company’s BP Texas City site, where 15 workers died in a 2005 accident.
