Leaders of some key major fine chemical manufacturers in Europe, along with industry body the European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG; Brussels), say they are concerned that the European Chemicals Agency Union (ECHA; Helsinki) is changing the rules regarding the management under Reach of intermediate chemicals and that this could cost the sector millions of dollars.
