Explosion at China Complex Kills Four

An explosion and fire on Saturday evening at a chemical manufacturing complex at Yushe Chemical Industry Co’s site in Yushe, Shanxi Province have killed four workers, says Xinhua, China’s official news agency. Two other workers are reportedly seriously injured. A further 37 workers were discharged from hospital yesterday, reports say. A production plant, which has been gutted by the fire, produced a range of chemicals including food additives and plastics additives, reports say.
