ECHA invites comments on proposals for harmonized classification and labeling of N-methyl pyrrolidone

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has invited comments on a proposal for harmonized classification and labeling (CLH) for N-methyl pyrrolidone. The substance is used as a solvent, a paint stripper, in electronics, and in coatings. The public consultation will be open for 45 days and will close on 11 October. The CLH proposal was submitted by the Netherlands. A harmonized classification already exists for N-methyl pyrrolidone.
