ECHA adds four substances to registry of intentions as potential SVHCs

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) says that four potential substances of very high concern (SVHC) have been included in the registry of intentions. European Union member states intend to prepare dossiers on these substances to make a case for their designation as SVHCs. Austria intends to evaluate two octyltin substances: the reaction mass of 2-ethylhexyl 10-ethyl-4,4-dioctyl-7-oxo-8-oxa-3,5-dithia-4-stannatetradecanoate (DOTE) and 2-ethylhexyl 10-ethyl-4-[[2-[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]-2-oxoethyl]thio]-4-octyl-7-oxo-8-oxa-3,5-dithia-4-stannatetradecanoate...
