The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) says the findings are distorted, and that the test subjects were overdosed. The study, conducted by researchers at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), School of Veterinary Medicine, linked triclosan to impaired heart and skeletal muscle contraction in mice and to slowed swimming in fish.
