Accident at DuPont Facility in New York Kills One

An explosion at DuPont’s Tonawanda, NY facility killed a contract worker and injured another, reports say. The explosion occurred as the workers were welding equipment attached to an empty vinyl fluoride storage tank. No chemicals were released. OSHA and DuPont are investigating.
