U.K. Officials Seek One Year Delay to Reach Deadline

Vince Cable, the U.K. government’s business secretary, and Caroline Spelman, environment secretary, have called on the European Commission to postpone the November 30 registration deadline for the European Union’s (EU) Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program by one year.
