Reach: Industry on Deadline to Notify Authorities of the Use of SVHCs

Some chemical companies producing – or importing – substances of very high concern (SVHCs) in the European Union (EU) have until June of this year to notify authorities in the European Union (EU) that their SVHCs are being used in consumer products. The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) is calling on chemical companies to rectify the situation.
