EnviroTech :: Regulatory :: Regulatory: REACH Reach: ECHA Urges Companies to be More Pragmatic as Deadlines Loom5:28 AM MDT | June 28, 2010 | Alex Scott The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has initiated a new public relations campaign in an attempt to encourage chemical companies to take a more pragmatic approach toward participation in the Reach program and comply with the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) regulation. The first Reach registration for chemical substances is November 30. By the same date chemical companies will be required to comply with CLP by classifying, labeling and packaging substances according to new criteria.
